Trained over a thousand people

More hands-on training experience than most trainers will accumulate in a career. We know what lands, what doesn't, and how to win over the skeptic in the back of the room.

Your data, your problems

Sessions are built around the actual datasets, dashboards, and workflows your team works with every day. Skills transfer immediately because the context is already familiar.

Behavior change, not knowledge transfer

We measure success by what people do differently on Monday morning, not by how many slides they sat through. The ROI shows up as decisions made faster and tools actually used.

Leverage, not dependency

We teach people to think with the tool, not memorize button paths. Your team builds capability that compounds — they keep getting better after we're gone.

We’ve trained over a thousand people

Bad training costs you. Good training makes you money.

We’ve personally trained over a thousand people on tools like Power BI, which adds up to more hands-on experience than most trainers will accumulate in a lifetime.

There’s a major difference between sharing surface-level instruction, like which buttons to click, and showing people how to apply the tools. We also love the challenge of winning over the person who doesn’t want to be in the training room and turning them into your next highly skilled team member.

The ROI math is pretty straightforward. Even a small increase in efficiency across a team at corporate pay rates can justify a training investment many times over.

Why you’re here

  • You invested in new tools, but results haven’t followed
  • You hired or grew the team
  • You’re tired of low-impact training
  • You want leverage, not dependency

How Canopy Analytic approaches Power BI training

It’s focused.

Training with Canopy is never abstract. We teach in the context of your data, problems, and constraints, so people immediately see how the things they’re learning directly apply to their work.

When training changes behavior instead of just transferring knowledge, the ROI is straightforward to see. Teams act decisively and drive more results with the tools you’ve invested in.

What’s included

Common questions

Is training in person or remote?
Primarily in person — that's where the engagement, attention, and behavior change happen. We run remote sessions when geography requires it, but we recommend in-person for the highest-leverage cohorts.
How is this different from generic Power BI courses?
We teach with your data, your reports, and your team's actual problems. People stop translating from a sample dataset to their real work — they're already in it during the session.
What's the typical group size?
Eight to fifteen people works best. Small enough that everyone gets hands-on attention, large enough that the dynamics of working together carry into the room afterward.
Can training be combined with strategy or execution work?
Yes — and frequently is. When training pairs with execution, the team that will own the system learns it as it's being built. When it pairs with strategy, the people who'll use the new capability are ready when it lands.
