This role sits at the center of the platform team. You’ll spend most of your time in packages/design-system and apps/site-a (and increasingly the additional sites we’re standing up).

What you’ll do
- Own performance for the multi-site platform — Lighthouse ≥ 95 across every shipping site is non-negotiable.
- Build and refactor templates in the shared design-system package.
- Pair with the editor-in-chief on authoring affordances; help her ship as fast as possible.
- Review every PR that touches templates or tokens.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of production frontend work, including TypeScript at scale.
- Astro 5 (or strong recent Next/Remix) experience.
- Hands-on track record optimizing Core Web Vitals.
- Comfortable working with AI coding agents — most of your PRs will be co-authored.
Nice to have
- Open source contributions to web platform tooling.
- Experience with self-hosted infrastructure (Coolify, Docker).
